Gympanzees is an award-winning charity, and our vision is that every disabled child and young person in the UK has access to play, friendship and exercise. We plan to achieve this by opening the UKs first, fully inclusive leisure facilities.

Story

Why the 3 peaks?

I fancied pushing myself to do something that would be a challenge and an achievement. Ben Nevis, Scafell Pike & Snowdon in 24 hours 😲

Why Gympanzees?

School holidays - can be hard work to keep the kids entertained. More so with disabled children for whom specialist facilities are very limited.

Gympanzees are trying to fill this gap. They hold pop-up centres during school holidays which offer a variety of activities, from specialised gyms and sensory rooms to therapy suites and social cafés, for the whole family to enjoy.

They have long term plans to build the UK’s first dedicated play, exercise and social inclusion destination for children and young people with disabilities and their families
