Story

On Tuesday April 12th whilst walking back from Newquay on the coastal path, our beautiful Caio-Wyn had a tragic accident. I knew immediately we needed the support of the RNLI. Their response and support was amazing, reaching Caio in a rapid time. Very sadly and tragically Caio lost his life. We were very grateful that the RNLI could bring Caio back to us in such a caring and compassionate way. Their manner throughout was caring, supportive and compassionate, we will be forever grateful. I never thought I'd need to call upon the RNLI until that day. This has highlighted to me the importance and vital role of this amazing service. In recognition of this, I am fundraising to raise vital funds to enable them to help others in such a difficult situation. I will be aiming to walk 100km over a 24 hour period, starting in London and finishing in Brighton on May 28th 2022. If you would like to give a donation to this fantastic cause, any amount would be gratefully received. Thank you in advance for any support that you may give. Diolch yn fawr 💙

RNLI volunteer lifeboat crews provide a 24-hour search and rescue service all around the UK and Ireland, while lifeguards keep a careful watch on the UK’s busiest beaches. RNLI lifesaving and drowning prevention depend on supporter fundraising and the generous donations that you and others give.
