Story

I recently lost my beautiful dad after he lost a very long fight with Parkinson's Disease.

It was tough over the last few years, as dementia took hold and he was less and less mobile. He was so brave but I wish he had never had to fight this horrible disease.

I wish this research could've helped him but never-the-less, I hope it can help anyone in the future who is coping with PD.

Here are some details about this promising research:

We are delighted that the results of GDNF trial for Parkinson's Disease was published on Wednesday 27th February.

The documentary following the trial was shown on BBC 2 on the 28th of February, featuring Bryn's journey. You can watch it here: https://youtu.be/u7zwRNyRz24

Updates will be provided on further GDNF trials following the publication of results.

We are asking for you to please donate to the work of GDNF for Parkinson's Disease, and allow the continued support of research to help with vital work being done to find hope for Parkinson's patients.
