Bupa Great South Run 2011 · 30 October 2011 ·

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.

Story

Dave and Melanie are running/limping the Great South Run to raise money for the Alzheimer's Society. As many of you know, Melanie's dad has lived with this illness for many years and is now being looked after in a nursing home, like so many others.

If any of you need a laugh come and cheer us through the streets of Portsmouth on October 30th 2011. You will spot Melanie near the back with the deep sea diver and back end of a pantomime horse.

Please donate and help find a cure for this heart-breaking disease.
