Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As you are probably aware I am an ardent supporter of Macmillan Cancer care and Cancer Research Uk.  But this year my focus has turned to the Breast Cancer Campaign.  This is in support of a wonderful lady who has always been a major influence in my life.  This is lady is Carole Gratton. She is my Auntie.  She is currently fighting this terrible disease but she is doing it with style.  She has good days and bad days but she has such a positive attitude, she  is a true inspiriation to all of us.  It is with her blessing that I am fundraising in her name so further research and development can be made for others diagnosed with this disease.

I have always had a special bond with Carole  She's not just my Auntie.  She's a role model, a confidant and a good friend. Ever since the day, as a 12 year old child, she had to find the words to tell me my Dad had died I knew she was someone special.  I have watched her nurse both parents and a husband through their illnesses to their last breaths.  She is a Mum and a Nan, Auntie and Sister, Lion and School Governor, teacher and fighter.  It's no wonder she is loved by so many.  Personally - I think she's amazeballs!!
