I'm actually climbing from the 19th October 2013 to the 30th October 2013.. I clicked the wrong event and can't change it!!

So.. I've decided to get involved in the climb to Mount Kilimanjaro because as it has many people, cancer has effected me in some way. I think this is a brilliant way to raise money as along with achieving something massive for myself I will also be able to get help and support from people in the sense of donations and in turn be able to help a wonderful charity do even more good than what they already have done!

The reason I initially got involved is because a colleague of mine was diagnosed and unfortunately died of the disease.. But instead of not doing anything about it, she started up Elise For Life in the hope of raising £1m for The Christie charity so other people didn't have to suffer with the disease and may have a better outcome. I think this woman was amazing and I would like to help finish what she started.
