I'll be honest and admit that first and foremost I am running the ZSL London Zoo Stampede 10K Charity Run because I really like running, and secondly because we're ZSL members and think it's a good cause.

So, I'm not doing anything extreme like climbing Mount Kilimanjaro, doing the 3 Peaks Challenge or an Ultra-Marathon across Death Valley.

I'm just running 10K, which works out to three laps of London Zoo and a little bit of Regent's Park.  I'm not even going to do it in an animal costume.

I've got a minimum fundraising amount of £50, which I was going to front up anyway.  My target is £100, an extra £50.  I reckon if everyone I know was to donate £1, that should be do-able.

So I'm not doing a lot - just 10K around the Zoo and Regent's Park - but I'm also not asking for very much either, I think, just £1.
