Story

Sanctuary Trust was set up in 2011 to provide sanctuary support and hope to homeless men in the community. The charity operates from two sites in the west of the Island, and can accommodate up to 24 men at any one time. A small dedicated team, of support workers deal with men facing a wide range of issues including economic hardship; unemployment, mental health issues; drug or alcohol addiction; breakdown in family relationships or domestic abuse. The Trust is largely funded through donations and fundraising initiatives with every penny raised going to maintain the services it currently provides. In addition to accommodation and support for its male clients, Sanctuary Trust also provides an outreach service. As part of our 10th anniversary year, we have new and exciting plans to extend our reach and help those in need. Since Covid-19, our services are in demand now more than ever so please help us fundraise so we can continue to provide sanctuary, support and hope to our homeless.
