Story
Yes...it's London Marathon time and this year, I have decided to support the British Heart Foundation. Why? Easy.
In July 2009, we were one of the lucky families. Dad survived a cardiac arrest and now is fitter, stronger and more active than before. For his bravery and courage, we honour him and love him that much more.
The scary thing about heart disease is how it often goes undetected. One of Dad's arteries was almost 100% blocked. He is now a sextuple heart-bypass champion!
If you're reading this, I thank you and would appreciate any support you can provide, even if it's a Good Luck text before the race on 25 April. Once again, I will be the last Kenyan to finish ;-)
JustGiving blurb below:
Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.
Thanks and Cool Runnings!
