Hi, my name is Meg and right now I am putting my life on hold for 50 hours and swapping my home comforts to live inside a glass box!
Youll find the box, which is only 3m x 2m, in the foyer of the Tesco Riverside store in Dundee, so I am pretty much 'on show' to the public from Noon on Thursday 26th until 2pm Saturday 28th May.
The challenge may sound crazy at first - but there is a very good reason for it. I am doing this to help generate more autism awareness, and Caudwell Children will be supporting me throughout. Families who experience autism on a daily basis have told the charity that living with the condition is similar to 'living in a glass box' - the isolation, difficulty in communicating, being stared at from all directions and the sense of feeling trapped are often associated with autism.
So the glass box is a great metaphor, and I know the challenge will prove testing at times. Mobile phones and gadgets are banned from the box and the door has to stay firmly locked. PLEASE support me in person by visiting me in-store. Failing that, you can also donate here on justgiving, or by text:

Many thanks, and I hope to see you soon!
