Prostate Cancer UK's 2023 Great North Run Team
Campaign by PROSTATE CANCER UK (RCN 1005541 and in Scotland (SC039332))
Prostate cancer affects 1 in 8 men in the UK. That's thousands of dads, grandads, partners, brothers, uncles, sons and mates. But it doesn't have to be this way. The money you raise will help fund lifesaving research into better tests and treatments

Story

This is the joint fundraising page for the whole team.

Unfortunately in November 2022 we lost Grandpa Falky to prostate cancer, and subsequently earlier this year Uncle Simon Megg was diagnosed with prostate cancer. As a result of the amazing work and research of Prostate Cancer UK, Uncle Simon will receive amazing treatment and after a bit of R&R should be back on the farm in no time.

With this cause being so close to both our families, we wanted to club together and raise some money to support two well known characters of East Yorkshire.

There are 16 of us signed up, all with varying abilities. So please wish us luck and donate whatever you can to help us through the next 6 months of training.

Team Meggs and Falkys-

Polly Megginson, Edward Falkingham, James Falkingham, Izzy Falkingham, William Megginson, Ben Megginson, Rosie Dale, Charlie Falkingham, Emily Mitchell, Emma Falkingham, Ollie Applebee, Sam Barker, Sam Falkingham, Shonie Woodall, Millie Cooke and Jonty Megginson!
