I'm running a marathon to raise money for the cancer support charity called Macmillan. My motivation? My uncle Finbarr passed away in May after enduring treatment for non-curable mesothelioma (asbestos cancer) for seven and half years. A love for life, expert medical treatment, and support from carers, family and friends enabled him to live for so long when the normal expectancy might be about one year.
