My dad got diagnosed with Cancer of the throat on the 12th September 2011. From the 12th of September till the end of December that year, My Dad not only went through Chemotherapy and Radiotherapy he also had operations to put a tube into his stomach to enable him to get any nutrition at all. Great fully on the 14th March 2012 My Dad got put into remission. It was a strain on us all but down to the amazing cancer research my Dad kicked cancers butt!!
