Story
Around 225,000 people develop dementia every year – that’s the equivalent to one person every three minutes. This September and October Memory Walks will be taking place across England, Wales and Northern Ireland to raise money for a world without dementia. Arm in arm, step by step and pound by pound, we will get there.
I'm doing the Memory Walk for Alzheimer's Society in Bristol on 6th September. It's only 6.5k so it's not a great physical challenge but it is a personal challenge to be proactive in the face of depression, to go somewhere alone and be in a big crowd etc. It's for an amazing cause so PLEASE DONATE to my JustGiving page below if you can or better yet find a Memory Walk for yourself, there's a great one in London that starts around the moat of the Tower of London
Once you donate, Just Giving will send your money directly to the Alzheimer's Society. So it’s the most efficient way to raise money – saving time and cutting costs for the charity. Please dig deep and help us walk for a world without dementia.
