In May I am running the BUPA London 10k for Macmillan Cancer Support.  I am running to raise money for such an amazing charity that helps thousands of people who are living with cancer in the UK.  Macmillan are the nurses helping you through your treatment, the experts on the end of the phone and the advisers helping you every step of the way. We are all affected by cancer and in the past 2 years I have witnessed this horrendous disease affect the people closest to me, I have witnessed the support Macmillan can give and how it really does make a difference.

For the next two years Macmillan is National Grid's employee chosen charity partner, pledging to raise £500,000 for people affected by cancer.  I will be supporting my Company's pledge and will be helping to raise as much money as possible along the way.

Cancer is the toughest fight most of us will have to face, so let's help those in need.
