I am fundraising for CHAS by participating in a sponsored trek to Everest Base Camp next summer organized by Choose a Challenge. CHAS is a fantastic charity that supports and runs children's hospices across Scotland. They run these hospices, but they provide support for the families of terminally ill and sick children. This support system provided by CHAS is more critical now than it has been in the past due to the uncertainty brought about by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The trek itself is an 11-day trek through the Himalayas, where we will summit on day 8, reaching an altitude of 5,364m. I want to take part in this fantastic challenge not only to prove my own capabilities to myself and do something I never thought I could do but also to help children and families that are going through something unimaginable by fundraising for such an amazing charity. Any donation would be greatly appreciated.
