Story
This Year, myself and my friend Susie will be skydiving with the aim of raising as much money as possible for the Royal Marsden to support their amazing work. We will also be doing cake sales and other fundraisers.
This local charity is particularly special as recently a close friend was diagnosed with a brain tumour. Due to its position, Sienna will receive 18 months of chemotherapy at The Royal Marsden. It was a shock to all of us and made me realise how lucky I am, and how quickly things could change for anyone. I was extremely inspired by the courage, strength and braveness she has shown through such a hard time, as well as being only 11 years old. It really made me think and I decided that it would be a real honour if I could, through fundraising, help the Marsden to fund their amazing support for others like Sienna.
Money donated to the charity will go directly to supporting the Royal Marsden, their work is irreplaceable . Their work ranges from funding state of the art equipment and supporting ground breaking research, to creating the best environment and support for patients. They will never stop looking for ways to improve the lives of those affected by cancer.
Due to the pandemic many charities had donations dramatically affected, with fundraising events unable to take place as before. This means it is important now more than ever to support charities. If you are able to donate to my just giving page it would be very much appreciated.
Thankyou
Love Megan
