Revive UK (charity no. 1183006) is an independent community project, providing practical support, services and advocacy for refugees and people seeking asylum in Salford.
Most importantly, Revive offers a supportive, caring, safe space to help people feel empowered, learn new skills and embrace the community they live in.
Revive offers vital services including English classes, benefits and welfare advice, immigration support, social work, housing support, food supplies and countless other ways to help. Even during this pandemic, we are continuing to work with volunteers and partners to provide door to door food parcels and essential supplies to those who need it most. ESOL volunteers are continuing to engage students in online conversational English practice.
Fundraising has been hit very hard by the COVID-19 pandemic. Many charities, particularly smaller ones like Revive UK, are struggling to maintain services because of this huge reduction in income. This impacts all sectors of society but especially some of our most at-risk communities, including refugees and asylum seekers.
