The financial pressure the Hospice is already under as a charity is great. The Coronavirus outbreak has added much more pressure as almost overnight their income has dried up. This will have a severe impact on their ability to provide the expert and loving care local families rely on.
Without donations they cant keep the doors open. And now, in these extraordinary times they are anticipating a loss of income of at least £500,000. Fundraising activities are having to be cancelled or postponed and people are staying at home and out of their shops.
Even though these are very difficult times the Hospice Team is determined that, come what may, they must continue to provide the same levels of personal, round-the-clock care for local patients and their families at what is the very worst of times for them.
Please stand with me in helping them keep the doors open.
Thank you.
