We harness the positive power of nature to help improve people's mental wellbeing

Story

Hello

I'm taking part in a hike in aid of the Wilderness Foundation on the 18th June.

We’ll cover 15 miles, 10 peaks and 1400 meters in ascent. The terrain is varied with rocky ridges, high summits, twisting paths, mountain lakes and rolling hills.

The route we will follow is off the beaten path, based in the remote Carneddau mountain range - which is the largest area of high ground in Wales and England. It starts in the middle of the Snowdonia mountain range, we’ll climb up to our first summit Pen yr Ole Wen 978m and then take a stunning line of summits and ridges, heading north towards the sea.

The Wilderness Foundation UK harnesses the power of the wilderness and nature to transform vulnerable lives and empowers people, in return, to conserve nature. Each year we work with over 7,000 people, including some of the hardest-to-reach and most disadvantaged young people and adults. All of our projects and programmes provide direct support, connecting people to nature, helping improve mental and physical wellbeing and teaching people to care for the natural world, using nature as a therapeutic tool.

I'd really appreciate your support raising money for a great cause

Thank you
