Story

Thank you for taking the time to read our page.

In April 2011 we received the devastating news that our Uncle Ian had a Brain tumour. Our world came crashing down but Uncle Ian stayed strong and always put a smile on our faces no matter how hard things got.

Uncle Ian is and always will be our inspiration, we loved him so much. Every time we saw him he made us laugh lots, with his funny stories and his bubbly personality. He was kind and caring and if you had ever met him you would also have loved him.

Myself aged 12 & Evie-Mai aged 5 are taking part in this event to raise money for Brain tumour reasearch because we don't want other family's to lose people like our Uncle Ian to this horrible disease.

We lost uncle Ian in February 2013 and we miss him very much.

Carole Heald ( Ian's sister and our Nana) will be walking the 10K with us. This is the 3rd year in a row me and Nana will be doing the Canal Walk and are proud to say my little cousin will be this year too.

Anything you kindly donate will be appreciated very much.
Thank you for taking the time to read this.  Love from Megan & Evie. xx
