We play a vital role in raising funds to improve health and enhance lives

Story

Doug and I will be running the Paris Marathon on April 2nd 2023 to raise money for the Royal Berkshire hospital in Reading where my dad was given life saving treatment in the ICU. Roger (my lovely dad) had a sudden cardic arrest in 2019 and due to the fantastic nurses and consultants at the RBH, he survived!

The survival rate is low for a sudden cardiac arrest– just 1 in 10 people in the UK survive.

Cardiac arrest is when the heart stops beating. Some 350,000 cases occur each year outside of a hospital. At some point we will all be affected by cardiovascular health. Donations help fund more ground breaking research and improve the lives of loved ones.

Any donations would be greatly appreciated!!
