Story
So after almost thinking it was time to hang up the running shoes due to recent niggles in my back and hips... I came home from work to an exciting email saying that I have been lucky to get a gold bond place running the London Marathon for our local North Devon Hospice!! Time to get some new trainers, get some miles in and raise some pennies !

6 years after starting my nursing degree and I will never forget my placement at the hospice and what an incredible eye opening experience it was such dedication and compassion by the amazing staff - A truly special place! This year North Devon hospice are celebrating 35 years of care, of which every year they need to raise £4.5 million to keep this amazing place going as it’s not NHS funded- Now working as a nurse at a GP practice I regularly see the work the fabulous community hospice team do
London marathon is a personal challenge for me and one I’ve always wanted to do (just once). Now I have been given a place raising money for a local charity so close to home Im motivated to raise as much money as I can!
Apologies in advance for pestering everyone by sharing this page & Thank-you all you lovely People who donate, and thanks to all our fab local businesses who donate raffle prizes
