Our PROJECT LION CAMPAIGN is raising funds for a variety of lion welfare and conservation activities, including collating data for ecological monitoring and moving an African lion to Africa.
Story
The Big Cat Sanctuary in Kent is working to help save some of the most endangered cats in the World from extinction, housing over 50 - from the largest, the Amur Tiger to the most endangered, the Amur Leopard. We are part of coordinated international breeding programmes to help maintain a healthy captive population, in the hope that ultimately they will be released into their natural habitat to mix with their counterparts in the wild. To keep our site quite and tranquil we offer personal big cat experiences by appointment only.
