Story
I am taking part in the Paws 4 Pilgrims charity event on Sunday 25th March in memory of my beloved dad Frankie Bell.
Dad was sadly taken into the Thanet Hospice on Thursday 3rd November and sadly passed away on Thursday 24th November. The 3 whole weeks dad was in the hospice he was treated with a huge amount of love, help and care. The wonderful staff also treated us with the same amount of treatment , and made us feel as welcome as they possibly could, even welcoming our little fur baby Ralph into their arms.
I cannot thank the wonderful staff at the Pilgrims Hospice in Thanet enough for everything they did for dad and us, in his final 3 weeks of his life. And with that I want to raise as much money as I can and give back everything they gave to us. Without them Dad wouldn't have received the amount of love, care and attention he did!
Before dad got taken into a hospice, I had no idea what a hospice was about and how it worked. The work and hours these nurses and doctors put in to make their patients feel as home as possible with their families is just phenomenal!!!
So a small donation of just £1 can help make a huge difference to these people's lives.
I would be forever grateful from the bottom of my heart.
