Story
My names Meg and in February 2019 we lost Frank Ashton, a friend, to his battle with Ewing sarcoma.
In April 2024 I will be running the London Marathon in memory of Frank and raising money for the Bone Cancer Research trust to raise awareness and hopefully make a difference to someone else's life through research into this disease.
Frank was so fun to be surrounded with and made anyone around him laugh and he will never be forgotten as he made a huge impact through his strength, smile and courage to everyone around him.
Any support would be hugely appreciated and would make a massive difference into research and finding a cure. Primary bone cancer received as little as 0.027% of funding from the uk's major cancer charities in 2020/21 and this needs to change. No one should suffer like Frank did and throughout all he still came into school with a smile on his face.
This is for you frank, we will make a difference into the research of bone cancer and continue to remember you always x
