Hi All

 I am fortunate to have healthly children and  I don't have to think about day to day costs for their care due to any health circumstances. Sadly there are parents who have to. I have experienced  when my child/children are unwell its hard when they have round of sickness and you are up early hours..sleepless nights but thankfully they get better. 

Acorns Childrens Charity provides great  support and care for families with children who need that support. Some children need that 24 hour care even through the night. The parents need that extra support. 

I did the midnight walk last September with a dear friend and it was a great walk. The information regards to the walk was pointed out by my husband...asking if I'd like to do the walk with some friends. I am glad I did the walk.

Well I have not looked back!

Acorns Children's Hospice offers a network of specialist care and support to children and young people who have life limiting or life threatening illnesses, and their families. Acorns is currently supporting over 630 children and more than 880 families, including those who are bereaved.

Children and young people can stay at the hospices for short breaks, emergency and end of life care. The Community Team gives support to the family 24 hours a day, every day of the year. There is no charge to families for using Acorns services
