Story
Hi! Thanks for visiting our fundraising page :)
Off the back of Medway Dragons' AMAZING Movember campaign (raising £3589), Harris and Tom (that's us) will be taking part in the David-Goggins-inspired "4 x 4 x 48" challenge [https://www.gogginschallenge.com/].
Starting at 8 PM, Friday 5th March - we will be running a total of 48 miles: 4 miles every 4 hour period for 48 hours, southeastward across the North Downs Way. Beginning from our spiritual garrison, the Brompton War Memorial, and march/running the 48 miles to the white cliffs of Dover.
In our ambitious Dragons spirit, we'll be completing the challenge in minimalist, self-sufficient fashion. Carrying all that we need to sleep and eat along the way, and foregoing the modern navigational aids like Google Maps in favour of a trusty old OS Map and compass.
Of course, we're raising money for our chosen charity: Teenage Cancer Trust.
Our involvement with Teenage Cancer Trust started back in Summer 2020, when our Dragons teammate Jack Brown, began his treatment after being diagnosed with cancer at just 16 years old.
Jack's bravery and strength has inspired us all! And after he expressed the amazing support that Teenage Cancer Trust has given him since beginning his treatment, we want to show how much we appreciate the work they do.

Every day, seven young people aged 13-24 hear the words “you have cancer."
Teenage Cancer Trust relies on people like you to fund their expert nurses, support teams, and 28 hospital units based all over the UK.
They don’t receive any government or NHS funding. And without Teenage Cancer Trust, young people, like our teammate Jack and their families, might not get the clear communication, sense of control and individual support they need throughout a serious illness.
Thank you so much for your donation!!! <3
