MEDICAL NOW | FUNDRAISING FOR ACTION FOR HUMANITY – supporting Ukrainian hospitals by sending medical equipment and emergency aid
Medical Now started with a simple Facebook message from a doctor in Kyiv saying, "We need help NOW"
The message was reinforced when the World Health Organization declared how severely disrupted the medical supply chain had become, and that hospitals were struggling to provide care to the sick and wounded
Through networks, requests for medical equipment and aid was received from the Charity fund "Future Kyiv" which is managed by the Kyiv City authorities and the Mayor, Vitali Klitschko
We have responded, sending convoys of aid into Ukraine BUT we desperately need to fundraise to continue supporting the medical supply chain
With your kind, generous donations and continued support, we can:
➢ Exchange donated funds for equipment and medical aid via wholesalers in Europe
➢ Transport aid to a central depot managed by the Kyiv City authority and Mayor's office
➢ Distribute to the frontline and hospitals around Kyiv, the east and southern Ukraine
