Meadow Farm is a rare and precious remnant of a wonderfully diverse habitat that once covered swathes of river valleys across the UK.

Today, due to the pressures of modern farming and development, just 1,500 hectares of this type of habitat remain in England. Yet despite its value to several fast-declining species and threatened wildlife, the 28 hectares of Meadow Farm has almost no protection by law.
