I am doing this event to raise money for Clatterbridge Cancer Charity in honour of Kev Walsh, my girlfriends dad. (who has also managed to raise and amazing £6,000 through her and her sisters own fundraising pages). 

Kev is currently battling a violent and severe case of Oesophageal cancer after just recently, receiving the a clear of the same strain of cancer in the summer of 2021. Somehow this cancer had not been complexly removed, and has now spread from the oesophagus to the thyroid.

I am doing this stream to raise money for the hospital that will assist him with treatment as he continues to face this horrendous illness he has befallen.

Kev and the entire Walsh family are the last who deserve the fear and heartbreak that this whole situation has brought them. And I will be posting donation goals to this channel as I solidify ideas and plans for the stream as well as schedules for the duration of the stream event. I want this stream to be a fun and happy time as it is exactly the type of energy Kev has displayed both before and after all that has happened. He never complains, never moans, nor does he take out any of this hardship on anyone he knows. He has continued to fight his fears and console this family and he nature they aren’t spending these days with too heavy a heart, as he wishes nothing more than for those he loves to be happy and strong. 

And this stream will never compare nor payback the love and support the family and Kevin has shown me, but it’s the very least I can do for someone that has raised the person I most adore and cherish in my life. 

It is my first time doing something like this with my stream community and channel, and I hope to do this fundraiser justice.
