Fundraising for Macmillan Cancer Support
Story
So here is my logic behind why I am doing this body show:
As with most people who offer to help out a charity, it usually hits close to the heart. Macmillan Cancer Support is that to my family, my Dad suffered a terminal cancer which he unfortunately lost his battle, passing away September 1st 2013.
During the few months of his diagnosis and illness the whole family received support to help us th...rough the process, which without would have made things a lot harder. Most importantly, my Dads last wish was to not spend his last days in a hospital, so with the help of the Macmillan nurses we were able to keep him at home, around his family, in the privacy of his own home, keeping his dignity. this alone deserves my support and I wish to thank them and try help this well worth service going, even if it is just a small amount.
So why sponsor me?
* Well if you believe in the worth of the Macmillan nurses and charity, then this may be enough..
* If you have had cancer in your ring of family and friends and want to show your support..
*if you knew my Dad, or are a friend of the family and again want to show your support..
*Or even if your a friend of a friend or a complete stranger feeling generous then that's great..
however I do realise there are THOUSANDS of people out there asking for sponsors, for many worth causes, so to try earn your sponsors I have decided to do something completely against my mentality, totally out of my comfort zone, took up a lot of my time and energy and takes a lot of dedication.
for those who know me, will know that I don't like putting muscle and body fat on, and strict diets also don't really thrill me either!
but most importantly, standing on a lit stage posing in some trunks is the most off putting, but its all for a good cause.
I would appreciate any support you can, but I would love it if you would be there to support me on the night.
