Over the last 3 years, my mum has been receiving treatment at The Christie, a wonderful charity that provides support and care for cancer patients and their families.
To show my gratitude and support for this amazing charity, I have decided to take part in the Manchester to Blackpool bike ride, a total of 60 miles, to raise funds for The Christie. This is a cause that means a lot to me, and I am hoping to make a real difference in the lives of those who are facing the same challenges as my mum.
I would be incredibly grateful if you could support me in this endeavour by making a donation to The Christie. Any amount, no matter how small, will go a long way in helping this charity continue their life-saving work.
Thank you so much for taking the time to read this message, and for your support in advance 🧡
What is the Christie?
The Christie is the largest single site cancer centre in Europe and treats over 60,000 people every year. Sadly, many people will have had a personal experience of cancer and therefore The Christie. As well as serving a population of 3.2 million people in the North West, more than a quarter of our patients are referred to us from across the UK. The money you raise in this event allows us to go above and beyond what the NHS provides for patients and their families, keeping The Christie as a world leader in cancer care and treatment, and funding our research into how cancer is treated.
