Story
Six Bristol Mums will be cycling 85 miles from Ilfracombe to Plymouth to raise money for the Ben McNicol trust.
The charity was set up after Ben McNicol died of a brain tumour in 2012, aged just 6 years old.
The aim of the Trust is to raise enough money to purchase a property where families can stay during their child's treatment within close proximity to The Royal Marsden Hospital, a specialist cancer centre in the South East of England.
They need to raise £200,000 and have remarkably got over three quarters of the way to their target so far.
To keep the momentum going towards their goal they put out a request for ideas to friends and family.
Sarah Bushell, a close friend of the McNicol family decided to rally together a group of her friends and neighbours to take on the cycle challenge.
The six will set off from Ilfracombe on the North coast of Devon on Saturday 21st June and aim to be in Plymouth on the south Coast by Monday lunchtime.
We really do appreciate your support for the Ben McNicol Trust and the valiant efforts of the six Mums.
