The Emily Harris Foundation together with everyone at Kingsmill Neonatal Unit has provided so much help and support to those in their care during difficult times. 

It is also a charity close to my heart as our twin girls were born close to 6 weeks premature. Having spent a couple of weeks in the Neonatal Unit, the level of care and support we both experienced and observed was truly amazing. 

As a thank you for the efforts of the Emily Harris foundation, that allowed us to remain by our girls' sides through their early start in life, and the NICU team who made that daunting journey so much easier and as pleasant as we could have hoped I'd like to complete a charity event for the Emily Harris Foundation to continue their efforts.

Five friends have kindly agreed to support my endeavour to raise money for the Emily Harris Foundation to help future families and babies who find themselves on the neonatal intensive care unit. In no particular order, we are blessed with Luke Gay, Gareth Gripton, Martin Kryzaniak & Matthew Pratt  to join the gruelling Strathpuffer 24hr mountain bike event. 

This will be our 2nd Strathpuffer MTB event, We will be sure to endure through freezing temperatures, consisting of 17 hours of darkness up in the Highlands of Scotland in the middle winter, mixed in with ice, wind, hail, rain, mud and perhaps snow if we are lucky. 

The Strathpuffer 24hr MTB event will be on 14-15th January 2023. However, training and preparation had begun  in 2020 into this year until the time of the event. We will keep you posted with pictures of oncoming training progress.
