I have, somewhat ambitiously, decided to take on the challenge of writing and recording a Christmas album this week to raise money for Crisis and help in some small way to eliminating homelessness. No one is forcing me to do this, no one has asked me to write a Christmas album, I just thought, what could I do that's not an online quiz or a cookery lesson? Oh yeah, I could write an album in a week. How hard can it be?

Throughout the week and up to Christmas I am planning to add more songs to the album. Some/most of the songs will be written and recorded by myself in my bedroom, but there may be some surprise guest contributions throughout the week. Keep your eyes peeled!

So, get the donations going. The more donations come in, the more motivated I'll be to write some really catchy Christmas songs, and the more likely my special guests will fling something in to the mix. The album will be available on Bandcamp free of charge (but do please make a donation to Crisis if you listen to it!)
