In June 2011, at the age of 4, Beth was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukaemia. She immediately began a course of chemotherapy that will end 5 days after this event takes place. Because of the fantastic work of the Leukaemia Lymphoma Society her outlook is excellent. Beth is running the Mini Great North Run to raise money for the Leukaemia Lymphoma Society so that they may continue their quest to cure all blood cancers.
