Some of you may have noticed me about wearing a rather fetching (in both senses of the word!) set of lycra ensembles about the office. You may have wondered why anyone would do this outside a particularly racey Seventies night? Well, I have committed to do an event called the "Etape du Tour", that's "Tour" as in "de France" and is actually run on the full course of Stage 10, the first mountain stage of this years Tour. The course is 104 miles and something over 4000m of climbing in the Frech Pyrenees which is a tall order for a middle aged desk jockey. So please give me some encouragement by sponsoring me to benefit the Archie foundation, a charity dear to my heart. So help the kids and give me a real incentive in the last miles before the mountaintop finish at Hautacam!!!
