Housing is at the core of my politics and it is a topic that I will always hold dear to my heart. Through local activism and my own experiences, I have witnessed first-hand the importance of stable and affordable housing and the ability this has to transform, not only lives, but whole communities. Yet, I have also witnessed the struggles of neighbours who were less fortunate, facing the harsh realities of homelessness.

I will be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon on 7 April 2024 for Shelter – a charity dedicated to eradicating homelessness and promoting affordable housing solutions. I have pledged to raise £300 to support their work in providing shelter, support services, and giving a voice for those experiencing homelessness. Until April, I will be organising a series of crowdfunding events so do stay updated.
