Story
Senses mission is simple to make sure no one with complex disabilities such as deafblindness, is isolated, left out or unable to fulfil their potential. Mazars offices in England and Wales are fundraising for Sense during the Mazars National Charity Week in October, to help raise funds to support people with complex disabilities fulfil their full potential
As part of this fundraising, the Mazars Manchester office staff are hoping to run/walk/jog/plod 390,000 steps throughout the day on the 5th October on treadmills situated in the office foyer. Each step is to signify a person living in the UK with significant hearing and sight impairments.
Sense is a national disability charity that supports people with complex disabilities to be understood, connected and valued. We are here for every person who faces communication barriers in a world that relies on being able to see and hear well to be connected. Our flexible and personalised services empower people to communicate and express themselves be it through speech or sign, touch or movement, gesture or sound, art or dance. Together, we connect differently and campaign passionately for the right to lead connected and fulfilled lives.
This will be an amazing effort for an amazing cause, please show them your support!
