Story
100 tunes before her 100th birthday on 5th May sounded a good idea to raise money for the Pabulum Cafe.
At the tender age of 3 years, May’s Dad bought a piano into their home and she taught herself to play by ear. Her first tune was ‘God Save the King’. Over the years, it has been one of her greatest pleasures which now include playing the organ.
The Cafe has been a wonderful place for Mum to go to. She especially loves the art and singing sessions. Everybody is so friendly and kind. It has also been a great help to us as a family for giving advice and answering our many questions.
We have missed our visits to the Pabulum Cafe and look forward to when we can all meet up again.
