Story

Jonnie and Chris, long-running running partners, are joining forces to raise money for Shooting Star Children's Hospices.

Jonnie consulted on their new -build Twickenham hospice in 2005 and subsequently ran two London Marathons in 2005 and 2009 on their behalf. Chris ran the London Marathon in 1989!

We have decided that this is the year to fulfil the promises we made to ourselves to run again and we are delighted to be raising funds for such a worthwhile charity.

Shooting Star Children's Hospices cares for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families across Surrey and London. Whether lives are measured in days, weeks, months or years, we are here to make every moment count. We support families from diagnosis to end of life and throughout bereavement with a range of nursing, practical, emotional and medical care.
