I am lucky enough to not have been affected by cancer personally in my life. This is not the same for an overwhelming percent of the UK and Ireland.

I am running a Half marathon on the 2nd December to raise money for Worldwide Cancer Research. This amazing charity is the leading charity that funds cancer research globally. It supports early stage research into the causes of cancer, as well as diagnosis, treatment and prevention of cancer. It currently has 169 projects underway, and is funded almost entirely by public donations and fundraising.
