Shooting Stars provides end of life and long term palliative care for children, and their families 365 days a year and are a vital source of support and respite.  The work they do uses the approach of supporting the whole family, including siblings and grandparents, with therapies and counselling, memory days, and in countless other ways.  Their two hospices provide safe and fun environments for children with life-limiting conditions to spend time, providing a desperately needed break for their families.

Amazingly they are only 10% government funded and rely on donations to remain open.
