The Maia Mouse Foundation was set up in memory of Maia Olivia Baum, who lost her short battle with a complex life limiting condition at the age of eleven months in 2016. The charity fundraises and provides financial support, by way of grants, to give to children with life limiting conditions. Working alongside various children's hospices, our mission is to reach out to as many families as we can.
Since establishing, the charity has developed strong links with Forget Me Not Children's Hospice in Huddersfield and with Shooting Star Children's Hospices based in Guildford.
Grants can be awarded to children linked with the hospice, to provide some relief from their illness, through breaks, memory making activities, alterations to their home or for the purchase of essential equipment.
"I'd just like to say thank you for the grant for Ariana Grande tickets, I've finally let the cat out of the bag this morning. We have one very excited teenager in the house. Thank you so much."
