I am running the 2018 London Marathon to raise money and awareness for the incredible work Unicef do to look after children in danger. They provide education, food and water, shelter and vaccines to children around the world to enable them to have a better future. Their work covers children in Syria, Iraq, children caught up in the current refugee crisis and children here in the UK. To find out more about the work they carry out, please visit unicef.org.uk.

How can you help? A donation of any size will make a world of difference to a child in need, here is what your money could do:


- £23 could provide a child with ready to use food for a month in an emergency.

- £58 can provide an emergency water and hygiene kit for two families in an emergency.

- £74 could help pay for school supplies to help at least 20 children continue their education in an emergency.
