Story

I am donning my trainers and a Santa suit, and (with some trepidation) running 5K in memory of our beautiful Anders, who we lost 8 years ago to a congenital heart condition. We miss every day and we always will.

During this difficult time, and ever since, the support we as a family have received from Shooting Star Chase has been an unquantifiable lifeline for us. This run, and the money that I hope to raise in doing it, is also our thank you to them.

You can read my full story on the main Shooting Star Facebook page:

I am a terrible runner, and 5K won't come easily to me, but I'd be so grateful for your support - it's without question what will get me through. Thank you so much for taking the time to visit myJustGiving page.  I appreciate everything that you are able to give, no matter how small.
