Story
Hi Friends!!
Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
On the 25th March I will be attempting to run the Brentwood Half Marathon. For this particular torture I have chosen to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support. There are so many worthy charities out there that it becomes hard to choose just one but I settled on Macmillan because I have first hand experience of the wonderful work they do in supporting you when you have a loved one who's been diagnosed with cancer. In this frightening and confusing time, they provided me practical information, help, support and a warm understanding that was so greatly needed and appreciated...
I will be running in memory of my Dad, David John Petty whom we lost to cancer at the age of just 64. A keen sportsman, a talented Jazz musician and an all round determined and hard working man, he still inspires me to do better and be better every day x
This is going to hurt! But if I know you have given money then I have to keep running!! Aarrrghh.....
Thanks chaps! :-) x
