Story
So many of us will be affected by Cancer, Heart Disease or Diabetes throughout our lives whether it's us or a family member.
For me it's Cancer. In 2005, aged just 57, I lost my mother-in-law to breast cancer. More recently, I lost my Aunty Ann (my mum's little sister), age 69, in March to lung cancer.
So, on the 19th July I'm part of a 30hr Dance Marathon Relay, at Wembley Stadium, where I'll be dancing for 2hrs in an attempt to break the Guinness World Record for the highest number of people (6000 in total) dancing over the 30hrs.
Any donation will be greatly appreciated and will hopefully make a difference for these amazing charities!
Why your Dance Marathon challenge can make a difference:- 1 in 2 people born after 1960 will be diagnosed with cancer in their lifetime- Today, 460 people will lose their lives to heart and circulatory disease- Someone is diagnosed with diabetes every two minutes- Almost every family and every community in the UK will be affected by one of these conditions.Together, with your support, let's beat cancer, beat heart diseases and fight diabetes.
