Story
2 years ago we lost our incredible teenage son Max, he took his own life after rumours, abuse and isolation from some of his peers. We don't want Max's suicide and the events surrounding his death to define him. We remember him as a kind, adventurous, creative person, a talented musician, a caring friend and a decent young man who had a bright future. We hold and share fond memories of Max and are grateful for the kindness and support of many people over the last 2 years.
Every day is incredibly tough without Max and this time of year is especially hard as we're taken back to the traumatic events and utter bleakness. We want to do something positive over the next few weeks and have decided to fundraise again in Max's memory.
We have chosen the LGBT+ charity Just Like Us, who do fantastic work in schools and colleges supporting young people, tackling bullying and championing LGBT+ equality and pride. You can find more about their brilliant work at www.justlikeus.org/
We're grateful for any support to this campaign, Thank you.
